The Wine and Beer department at Poppies is an array of quality yet affordable wines from all over the world. In an effort to bring the most diverse wine and beer selection Brevard had ever seen, we set out to buy wines that are off the beaten path from around the world and right here at home. Asheville is becoming a world class brewing town and we offer Pisgah Ales, Highlands and French Broad. From eleswhere in the Southeast, we have Duck-Rabbit, Mother Earth, Sweetwater, Terrapin and Thomas Creek
Our selection of Belgium, European and American micro brews is quite impressive. Remember, you can pop your choice into our chiller and enjoy it right then with your meal at Poppies.

Important news - we have lost our lease on the building at 1 Market Street. We are now closed. Thanks to all our great customers for your support these last five years. We know we can count on that same support as we work on our transition plan to open a new store in Brevard.

The next stage is to finish our business plan on the smaller, but better Poppies. We will emerge an even more community minded store for if there's one thing we have learned through this challenging time, we're nothing without this community.
